Unusual ‘Head’ Found on Mars Likely Just a Case of Pareidolia

Someone recently spotted what he describes as the head of Egyptian-style female warrior statue on Mars. It’s likely just a case of pareidolia, or the psychological phenomenon that causes people to see a random image of something significant where there is seemingly none.

Joe White, of the ArtAlienTV – MARS ZOO Youtube channel, claimed there’s an image of “a female warrior wearing a helmet similar to some found on Earth from the middle ages.”

“I found what seems to be a small feminine looking statue head on Mars in Gale Crater in this recent Curiosity Rover image from NASA. Only a few inches in size or less,” White wrote on YouTube.
